2013 marked 40 years since DJ Kool Herc threw his "Back to School Jam" party in the Bronx, New York, giving birth to what we now know as Hip-Hop. Origin & Jewels, a London based streetwear brand approached me to design a series of apparel graphics to celebrate to occasion, including a hyper-detailed illustration of 1520 Sedgwick Ave the birthplace of Hip-Hop
